Elizabeth-Hata Tablet Press Division Of The Elizabeth Companies
Product Line:
This division of The Elizabeth Companies is an engineering, design, and manufacturing center for customizing Hata Tablet Presses, Elizabeth-Hata Press Controls, Elizabeth-Hata Tablet Testing Systems, and other auxiliary tablet press equipment. Company offers the Easy-Clean Series of tableting presses, featuring Hata's patented design innovations which reduce cleaning time by up to 50 %. The Hata family of presses include: single-sided R&D and small-batch presses which are ideal for product testing and pilot plant operation; medium-output and high-output/high tonnage double-sided press models; double-layer and triple-layer, core-coating, and the new Hata Washable Tableting Press.
Service/Technical Staff:
Elizabeth-Hata's in-house service and technical staff consists of nine (9) full-time Hata Press Technicians with industry experience ranging from 4 to 25 years. Service, installation, training, and technical support and assistance of all Hata Press models, is handled from Elizabeth-Hata's facility in North Huntingdon, Pennsylvania (just east of Pittsburgh). Initial press installation and training is provided by the same Elizabeth-Hata technician that performed the pre-shipment operational qualification testing on the Hata Press. This ensures satisfaction from both the supplier (Elizabeth-Hata) and the end user (the pharmaceutical company). Because all of these facets and technical capabilities are handled in-house, custom press control packages and design modifications are no problem for Elizabeth-Hata's engineering and design staff.
Test Facility/ Demonstration Labs:
Elizabeth-Hata International completed a new 58,000 square ft. facility in January of 1999, which is equipped with four (4) test Laboratories for clinical product trials and complete tablet press demonstrations. Elizabeth-Hata has always had the capability to provide the customer with a Hata Tablet Press demonstration; however, Hata's new facility has greatly enhanced the equipment demonstration process.
In addition to the new test laboratories, the new facility has increased space for spare parts and tablet press inventory. These areas have been on a continuous rise over the last several years. Elizabeth-Hata keeps Hata Tablet Presses of every model in their press inventory in order to expedite new tablet press deliveries and equipment demonstrations.
