NEW YORK (AP) — Forest Laboratories Inc. and partner Almirall S.A. said today their potential lung condition treatment aclidinium bromide met its key
goal in a late-stage study.
The inhaled drug is aimed at treating chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
The study compared the drug with placebo in the 544-patient study. The company
said the results are preliminary and analysis is ongoing.
This is the second study on the drug candidate, and the company said a third
study is already ongoing.
